„Around the World in Twenty Days” at the META Art Camps

Crafts / Visual Arts Camp
During the crafts and visual arts camp, children create artworks inspired each day by the characteristic artistic style of a different country. Throughout the day, they get to know that country’s art and crafts, and everyone can choose the style they like best.
The selected styles will then be used to create artworks using craft techniques, drawing, or painting.

Music Camp
In the music camp, children embark on a musical journey around the world. They can discover and try many different instruments and musical styles. With the help of the teachers, they create a small performance together, which they present on the last day of camp as a mini concert for fellow campers and invited guests. For beginners, the program also helps with choosing an instrument later on.

Photography & Film Camp
In the photo–film camp, children learn how to use their smartphones more effectively (we provide devices for those who cannot bring one). They learn how to take good photos, create a photo report—such as about a bird—produce a camp news segment, or make a photo montage about their surroundings. Those with more patience can also learn the basics of video editing. Our goal is for pairs of children to create a short film based on a script they write themselves.

Puppetry Camp
In the puppetry camp, we peek into the workshop secrets of puppet artists from ancient times to today. We learn how puppets are made and how they are operated. The children create a short puppet performance of their own. Their work is documented with photos, and the short scenes and animated situational plays they create are recorded on film.

Participation fee: 60,000 HUF per person for 5 days (Monday–Friday) + the cost of meals.

The exact meal price will only be available in early June (in 2025 it was 3,000 HUF per day). Meal fees must be paid in cash, in full, on the first day of camp.
Meals (for non-special diets) include one hot meal, a morning snack, and an afternoon snack.

Registrations submitted by May 31, 2026 receive a 10% discount, and an additional 5% discount applies for each sibling and/or additional camp session.

Arrival from 7:30
Breakfast from 9:00
Activities: 9:30–12:30 and 15:00–16:30
Lunch: 12:30
After lunch: free activities, screenings, playground
Afternoon snack: 16:30
Residential accommodation and special diets are available upon request.​​​
